In 1898, near Kensington, Minnesota, a discovery was made that could have changed American History forever. A large runestone pertained to tell of a group of Scandinavian explorers from Norway and Sweden who had come under attack from the local natives in the year 1362. If true this would be possible evidence for continued Norse habitation in North America and yet more European contact with the New World before Christopher Columbus. Yet there are severe doubts about the authenticity of the stone as there are several problems in a number of fields concerning it. ReGen's "Comedy, Cocktails ... and a Little Bit of Policy" with the Theater of Public Policy showed how the next generation of Iron Rangers want to make a difference... whether it's finding more ways to contribute to their community on boards and commissions, helping the next generation of retail, or just finding babysitting they can pay for (and not feel guilty about keeping their grandparents in on Saturday night). Nearly 100 people spent the evening at the Minnesota Discovery Center laughing, and talking policy.
